The National Gallery's schools' programme has just got underway with a series of art lectures, free of charge, each Thursday at 5 p.m. The talks with slides last for one hour and take place in the gallery's lecture theatre. This Thursday the subject is baroque art, including Caravaggio. Next week's lecture is on the great Spanish masters.
