The Co Kilkenny VEC arts education programme continues its lecture series, under the general title Forever Changing, with a talk by the composer, Professor Micheal O Suilleabhain of the World Music Centre, University of Limerick, this Thursday. Discussing "The Changing Course of Irish Music", O Suilleabhain will draw on his television series, A River of Sound, and talk about the current state of Irish traditional music.

Simon Mackenzie, director of TOSG Theatre Company on the Isle of Skye, will give the next lecture on February 8th. Entitled "Mightier than the Sword", it will look at the history of land ownership in the Scottish Gaidhealtacht.
