THE 19 men and women who run the country's new education centres, will meet in Galway tomorrow and Thursday to discuss future objectives and overall strategy. Since last September all of the centres have had full-time directors, all seconded from teaching situations. Over the two days they will look at their experiences, their effectiveness and development plans. "They will be trying to develop networking between centres and other agencies," says Patrick Diggins, convenor of the meeting. "They will also be gearing themselves up for training teachers in information technology."
