Most inspirational teacher and why? Mr Paccione in St Francis, because despite the fact that I was in the process of getting kicked out of school, he was forever trying to keep me interested and always trying to get me to read for extra credit.

Best thing about the Irish education system? Its high standard allows a large majority of students to use their own initiative and does not underestimate the intellectual capabilities of young people.

The worst thing? The ridiculous pressure the Leaving Cert puts on people and the unfair advantage money can have on the preparation for the exam.

What song most reminds you of your school days? Céad Míle Fáilte Romhat a Íosa. Or something like that
