Niall Dunphy has been elected as UL's first full-time postgraduate representative by the UL Postgraduate Students Association. Top of Dunphy's agenda is the abolition of fees for postgraduate courses to bring them in line with undergraduate courses.

"It is highly unfair that when universities are trying to attract postgraduates this unjustified situation persists," he says. Dunphy will also work to establish a national forum which will represent the specific needs and concerns of postgraduate students.
