The National Gallery of Ireland will be holding its sixth annual family day this Saturday, May 20th. Children and adults of all ages are invited to enjoy music, song, dance and art.
To welcome visitors to the gallery, a "millennium carnival" will be held in the forecourt, includes stilt walkers, dancers, face painters and drummers, while in the Shaw Room pianist David McNulty will be performing light popular music. Throughout the day there will be children's drawing classes and a variety of music programs, including performances by the Wexford Children's Choir and the Royal Irish Academy of Music Junior String Group.
