Airline Easyjet said yesterday its load factor - a measure of how well it filled planes - was down 2.4 percentage points to 83.2 per cent in October.
Passenger numbers in October rose 7.3 per cent to 2.935 million.
The airline, which reports annual earnings next week, said last month its year profit would be higher than expected despite disruptions caused by heightened security at UK airports in August.
