Rail commuters travelling on the Rosslare to Dublin line face disruptions today.
Iarnród Éireann said the final phase of the renewal and upgrading of the signalling system on the route will begin.
For the next 11 days bus transfers will operate between Wicklow and Rosslare, while on April 26th buses will carry travellers between Dublin and Rosslare.
An Iarnród Éireann spokesman said the work on the route is nearing completion.
¿The signalling system is being upgraded from mechanical semaphore signalling to a modern computerised system using colour light signals, enhancing safety and generating efficiencies, and facilitating the planned expansion of rail services,¿ he said.
¿Customers are advised that car park spaces will be greatly reduced at all stations on the route during this period.¿
Passengers who have mobility impairment or who have special needs should contact their local station in advance.
