The delayed festival has already attracted thousands to the city over the past two days, and yesterday's 'Big Day Out' was capped by a spectacular fireworks display.
Today's parade will be without many of the traditional overseas participants, but with the theme of 'fusion' the organisers have promised a carnival of colour and pageantry.
The parade will leave from St Patrick's Cathedral at 2 p.m. and will travelthrough the city to Parnell Square, along Christchurch Place, Dame St, Westmoreland St and O'Connell St.
Special attractions exotic hula dancers, juggling barmen, a one-eyed half horse/half bulldozer, huge exotic flowers and a 12 foot high automation machine.
