Revenue officials at Dublin Airport have seized €40,000 in cash concealed in carry-on baggage.
Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at the airport discovered the cash in baggage belonging to two men from Northern Ireland.
The men, aged 29 and 30, were about to board a flight to Malaga yesterday morning.
The cash was seized by Revenue officials in accordance with the Criminal Justice Act, on suspicion of being the proceeds of crime.

A Revenue spokeswoman said the discovery was made on foot of an intelligence-led operation.
In Dublin Circuit Court yesterday, Judge Patricia McNamara granted officers a three-month detention order in the case of both men in order that they could carry out further investigations.
