Drugs with an estimated street value of €3.5 million were seized by gardaí and officers from revenue's customs service after a planned search of a premises near the Malahide Road in Coolock in Dublin this afternoon.
The haul included 400 kilograms of cannabis resin, 50 kilograms of cannabis herbs and 8 kilograms of tablets.
A man in his twenties was arrested and is being detained at Santry Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice ( Drug Trafficking ) Act 1996.
