Drowning found to be cause of Marlay Park death

A post mortem performed on the body of a man found in Rathfarnham in Dublin on Sunday has found he drowned.

A post mortem performed on the body of a man found in Rathfarnham in Dublin on Sunday has found he drowned.

The body was discovered by a passer-by in a small forest area next to some playing fields in the Marlay Park. Gardaí said no foul play was suspected.

The dead man is understood to be Mr Eamon Adams, who had been missing from his home at Pine Copse Road, Dundrum, since July 25th.

A recently abandoned car in Marlay Park's car park has been identified as one Mr Adams had been driving.
