A Dublin woman was killed when her car collided with an English tourist coach near Roscrea, Co Tipperary, yesterday.
Gardai confirmed that the woman, whose name has not been released, was driving to Dublin when the collision occurred on the Roscrea bypass. Three people, including the driver of the coach, were treated for minor injuries in Nenagh General Hospital.
Meanwhile, the body of a man discovered at his home in Clonmel at 8.15 p.m. on Saturday has been identified. He was Mr Thomas Browne (63), 26 St Patrick's Terrace.
The man's brother, Mr Joseph Browne (66), was admitted to St Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel, with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. Gardai say foul play is not suspected.
