It took three fire engines - two from Dolphin's Barn backed up by a third from Tallaght - to bring a fire at a house at Errigal Road, Drimnagh, south Dublin, under control last night.
The incident happened at around 9.30 p.m. and no one was hurt although firemen were unsure at first whether all the occupants had left the house. It took them about half an hour to bring the fire under control, a spokesman for Dublin Fire Brigade said.
