Doughty Hanson has become the latest private equity firm to confirm it plans to list a vehicle on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange in a bid to raise €1 billion.
Doughty Hanson, which agreed to buy TV3 in May, said the vehicle, Doughty Hanson & Co Investments LP Incorporated, would invest primarily in its private equity, real estate and technology funds.
The firm will have Fred Watt, the former chief finance chief of the Royal Bank of Scotland, as its financial officer, and it plans to unveil the public offering in early October.
