A jury in the trial of a Limerick man charged with the murder of a father of three has been told a DNA sample taken from a glove found beside a handgun matched that of the accused.
The forensic evidence was heard at the trial of Greg Crawford (23), St Munchin’s Street, St Mary’s Park, Limerick, who denies murdering Gareth Grant (25) on October 8th, 2008.
Mr Grant was shot dead outside his home in St Ita’s Street, St Mary’s Park, on that date. The trial continues at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Limerick.
