Dublin will see major disruptions this weekend from angry cyclists, anti-war protesters, rugby fans and Sinn Féin members.
Disruptions will begin this evening in the city as a "Critical Mass" meeting of cyclists takes place at the Garden of Remembrance. Hundreds are expected to gather to raise safety awareness.
A major anti-war demonstration will take place tomorrow at 3 p.m. from Parnell St to Merrion Sq. At least 20,000 are expected to turn out.
Would be protesters should note that Met Éireann is predicting a mostly dry day tomorrow, with sunny spells. Maximum temperatures 10 to 13 degrees.
Saturday night will be dry and cool with an easing breeze allowing mist and fog to set in, becoming dense in places. Ground frost is also expected. Top temperatures around 10 to 12 degrees.
The Allianz Hurling league division 1a and 1b games taking place this Saturday are Wicklow V Longford (Walsh Park), Waterford V Clare (Walsh Park), Dublin V Kilkenny (Parnell Park) and Laois V Galway (Portlaoise). All matches will kick off at 3 p.m.
Any rugby fan knows that Ireland take on England at Lansdowne Road in the Six Nations Rugby grand slam on Sunday at 2 p.m.
