London - Princess Diana is portrayed in a new book as a telephone addict, who nursed a vindictive streak against the British royal family.
The book is by her psychic healer and confidante, Ms Simone Simmons, who said the late princess carried around four mobile phones.
Her resentment of the royal family, whom she portrayed as her enemies, extended to her voting 250 times in a 1997 television telephone poll to scrap the monarchy.
