A Derry man already facing charges in connection with an armed raid on a Co Donegal nightclub earlier this year was charged with further offences at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today.
Mr Kieran Doherty (23), of Ardfoyle, Brandywell, Derry was charged with the false imprisonment of Mr Patrick O'Brien, Mr Christopher Mc Laughlin and Mr James Walsh at the Bailey nightclub, Redcastle, Co Donegal, on March 3rd this year.
He was also charged with assaulting Mr Colm Doherty with intent to rob him on the same date.
Mr Doherty has already been charged with the possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit a robbery at the Bailey nightclub on March 3rd.
Mr Doherty was remanded on continuing bail until April 16th next year when his trial is due to go ahead.
