Residents in the loyalist Fountain estate on Derry's mainly nationalist cityside area have called for a security fence around the estate to be enlarged following a petrol-bomb attack on Sunday night.

Five petrol-bombs were thrown over an existing fence from Upper Bennett Street in the Bishop Street area of Derry in the latest in a series of sectarian clashes in the area in recent weeks.

One youth, armed with a catapult, was arrested by police following Sunday night's attack. He has been released pending the preparation of a police report.
