Uncapped Sale Sharks centre Mel Deane was today called into Ireland's squad for next month's tour of New Zealand after Shane Horgan was ruled out with an ankle injury.
Ireland play their first game of the three-match tour against a New Zealand Divisional XV in Timaru on June 8th. They then play two tests against the All Blacks in Dunedin on June 15th and Auckland on June 22th.
