Brussels - The eldest daughter of Pastor Andras Pandy, accused of murdering six other members of his family, said yesterday she believes he is guilty. Ms Agnes Pandy (39) told the Brussels weekly Blik: "I am ashamed to be the daughter of a man who could turn out to be one of the worst serial killers of the century."
Ms Pandy, who told police in 1992 that her father sexually abused her, said he sent her and her brother to the Belgian coast for several days in 1988. When they got back, her stepmother, Edith, and sister, Andrea, had disappeared.
Mr Pandy (71) was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of murdering his two ex-wives and four of his eight children. The Hungarian-born pastor, who always claimed they had moved abroad, is denying the murders. Belgian police have found at least two bodies buried in the basement of one of Mr Pandy's two homes.
