England loose forward Lawrence Dallaglio has been cleared to travel to Australia with the British and Irish Lions next month after leaving the field in a club match yesterday.

The former England captain left the field at halftime in the Wasps match against Bath after sustaining a knee injury.

Wasps' chief Nigel Melville said Dallaglio would be fit for the tour which includes three tests against the World Cup-winning Wallabies in June and July.

"He felt a tweak and decided to come off at halftime," Melville said. "It is nothing serious."
