Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body at a house in Tullow, Co Carlow, this morning.

The man, believed to be in his early 30’s, was found shortly after 9am at the house at Graigeowen, Tullow.

A second man sustained serious injuries.

The injured man has been taken to St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny.
