Gardaí in Trim, Co Meath are investigating a number of incidents of alleged indecent exposure.
The incidents are believed to have taken place between January 31st and February 8th.
An composite image of the suspect has been compiled by gardaí from details provided by a witness as part of the investigation, using special new software called EVO-fit.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged from mid 30s to early 40s.
He has dark brown hair with a stubble beard that appears to be connected to his hair. He was described being heavy build and scruffy, gardaí said.
He was driving a large white van with no writing on it.
Anyone who can help identify the man is asked to contact Trim Garda station on 046-9431222, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda station.
The new EVO-fit software has been claimed by other police forces to have had a success rate of up to 74 per cent in identifying suspects sought by law enforcement agencies.
It bypasses the need for victims and eyewitnesses to recall from memory what a suspect looks like, instead tapping into ‘recognition memory’.
