Date set for trial of woman charged with Dublin murder

Mercy Peters accused of killing Tyrone McKenna in Rathfarnham

A date has been set for the trial of a 41-year-old woman charged with murdering her former partner in his South Dublin home.

Mercy Peters, originally from Sierra Leone, is charged with murdering 42-year-old Tyrone McKenna on July 17th at the house they had shared in Marlay Court, Rathfarnham.

Her case was called before the Central Criminal Court.

Mr Justice Paul Carney set a trial date for June 20th, 2016.
