The trial of four members of the same family on charges arising out of an alleged feud three years ago collapsed at Wicklow Circuit Court yesterday due to a lack of jurors to hear the case.
The defendants, Patrick Moorehouse snr and his sons Sidney and Myles, Old Court Park, Bray, and Patrick jnr, Carrick Court, City West, Co Dublin, are pleading not guilty to production and possession of pick-axe handles, threatening to kill, violent disorder and production of articles capable of causing serious harm on August 20th, 2006, at Old Court and Heatherwood Estate in Bray.
A man in his 20s and his teenage sister were injured in the incident.
Only 10 jurors were available to be empanelled. The case has been put back to December 8th.
