Bogota - A couple and their nine children, including a six-month-old infant, were killed by unknown assailants near the north-west Colombian town of Bolivar, a Catholic priest said yesterday.
Father Alirio Cordero told Bogota radio that the attack took place on Monday but was discovered late on Tuesday in the agricultural area. He said authorities were considering the case a revenge killing. The children were aged up to 14 years old, according to the priest, who said he was informed by a local resident. This followed the massacre of 21 people by a death squad in eastern Colombia on Tuesday.
