Organic food: I buy mostly organic fruit and veg, for their taste (yes, they do taste better - unless you have a very gross palate, anyone can taste the difference) and because I cannot see the point of buying veg that has been sprayed with thousands of chemicals, stored for months and looks all the same.
The purpose of fruit and veg is to be nutritious, and while I cannot prove that organics are better, I don't agree with paying for chemicals and overloading my body with hidden extras. I like my apples small, tart and ugly but with that fantastic apple smell, something plastic-looking, shiny, waxed apples lack. I buy my veg at the organic market, the man knows me well and always adds a bunch of carrots or an extra handful of this or that. The value is much better than at supermarkets, and I buy things I wouldn't find there. - Anne
Delivery fees
DHL Express also asks for Customs Import VAT at 21 per cent plus a 2 per cent surcharge. I got a bit of a shock, as I've been buying online for years! Made my purchase less of a bargain, that's for sure! - Nicola
Price increases
I was wondering: do you happen to know if the price of bread will decrease, after all the recent increases. I realise that the price increase is due to the poor harvests this year. If the harvest improves next year, what are the chances that the price of bread will fall again? - Jennifer O'Leary
