DIY vs DELI
I am sure that Ray McCabe (last week's Pricewatch) doesn't buy his rocket in Tesco. As the owner of a deli, wouldn't he buy wholesale? Making your own sandwiches is certainly cheaper and the same goes for coffee. Invest in an espresso maker with a milk frother (€200) and save on your morning latte. Laura
Ray McCabe's sandwiches are simply great value. The bread is tasty, the fillings are generous and yum – the chicken tastes like chicken! And cheap too – mine is usually €3.50. Beats O'Brien's hands down. Justine
