David Connolly has been told to take his recovery from a knee injury slowly by Wimbledon manager Stuart Murdoch.
The Republic of Ireland international has yet to play for the Dons this season after suffering ligament damage.
Connolly is back in training and eager to return to first-team action but will not be risked in the reserves this week.
Murdoch will be patient with his injured star, who top scored for the Dons last season with 18 goals.
