Connacht 23 Narbonne 7
(Connacht win 50-49 on aggregate)
Connacht are through to the quarter-final of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup after beating Narbonne on aggregate at Corinthian Park this afternoon.
Connacht trailed 42-27 after the first leg but staged an amazing fight-back to secure a quarter-final meeting with Pontypridd in January.
Darren Yapp opened the try scoring when crashing over the line following good build up play from Eric Elwood and Eoin Reddan.
Connacht controlled the game in large parts and looked comfortable when hooker Marnus Uijs raced through for the westerner's second try.
Connacht led 14-0 at half-time.
Elwood edged Connacht in front on aggregate soon after the restart with a penalty from just inside halfway and he further extended the lead after 57 minutes with a kick from the ten metre line.
But Narbonne hit back when substitute Xavier Guillemet touched down to level the aggregate score at 47-47.
Connacht, however, remained composed and secured the victory with an Elwood penalty late on.
