THE 32nd Ballybunion bridge congress will take place in The Castle, Co Kerry, from September 11th to 15th. There will be open pairs on Wednesday night twice daily thereafter.
The one session women's and men's pairs will be decided on Thursday night. The mixed pairs will be over two sessions on Friday, as will the major pairs on Saturday. The team championship will run from 1 p.m. to 16 p.m. on Sunday.

The Bray (Co Wicklow) open Swiss team championship, with £800 in prizes, will be played in the Greystones Centre on September 1st. Entries Eileen Vickers (01 2868529).
