A four-day conference focusing on where Irish society is headed will take place at Ennis, Co Clare, from October 29th to November 1st. Entitled "Are We Forgetting Something?", it will address the need to prioritise the fundamental areas of life such as the inner self, Creator, family and community.
The conference will be opened by the President, Mrs McAleese, and speakers will include Dr Mary Redmond, founder of the Irish Hospice Foundation, Mr David Begg of Concern, Mr John Lonergan, Governor of Mountjoy prison, Prof Joe Lee of UCC, and Mr David McWilliams, senior economist and strategist with the Banque Nationale de Paris.
