A German computer technician has pleaded guilty to downloading child pornography from the Internet in a Raheny house where he rented a room. Tobias Vollmer (22), originally from Bielefeld in Germany, with an address at Grangepark Drive, Raheny, admitted possession of child pornography on December 14th last year. The offence comes under the Child Pornography Trafficking Act.
Judge Elizabeth Dunne remanded him on continuing bail for sentence on February 29th.
