A man who fled a traffic accident in which a 12-year-old boy was injured was ordered yesterday to do 100 hours community service.
Edward Hutch (25), Portland Close, Dublin, admitted failing to remain at the scene at North King Street, Dublin, on May 28th last year. Dublin District Court heard earlier this year that his car hit two other vehicles in the accident, including one in which the boy was travelling.
Judge Terence Finn imposed 100 hours community service. He also ordered him to do 120 hours community service on a separate charge of driving without insurance.
