Three people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of approximately €2 million worth of cocaine in west Dublin.
The find was made after a series of raids on residential properties in Tallaght yesterday evening.
During searches in Tallaght, officers found a sophisticated cocaine factory and also recovered equipment and a substantial amount of cash.
It was initially thought that the drugs had a street value of €200,000, but after further analysis garda now believe they are worth around €2 million.
Two men and one woman in their early 30s were arrested during the operation and taken to Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda stations.
They can be held for up to seven days under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
The intelligence-led raids, which also took place in Walkinstown and Crumlin, were carried out by gardaí at Kevin Street investigating organised crime in the south inner city.
A Garda spokesman said investigations are continuing.
