Scotland's Colin Montgomerie and Germany's Alex Cejka finished joint leaders of the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open at the end of today’s second round.
Both covered the St Leon-Rot course in 10-under-par (134). A group of four players were one shot back, including; Tyroneman Darren Clarke, England’s Mark Pilkington, Ian Woosnam of Wales and Australia’s Richard Green.
Title-holder and tournament favourite Tiger Woods was two off the pace on eight-under-par after today’s 67.
Of the two other Irishmen in the field Padraig Harrington fared the best. The Dubliner shot a 70 to reach the halfway stage on three-under. Des Smyth unfortunately didn't do enough with today’s 74, for a two-over tally and missed the cut.
