A church commission set up to investigate reported miracles and apparitions at a prayer centre in Co Mayo has been inundated with evidence from people claiming to have been cured during visits to the "house of prayer" set up by housewife Ms Christina Gallagher, on Achill Island.A theologian has been drafted in to help the commission, the Archbishop of Tuam, Dr Michael Neary, said yesterday. Speaking from Lourdes, he said there was no deadline on the commission report. He made it clear that material was continuing to come in and there was no indication as to when the commission would finish its analysis.Ms Gallagher's "house of prayer", set up four years ago, is no well established, with coachloads of pilgrims arriving every day in summer.
