London - Sharing a birthday with the most famous baby in history has had a bad press. But being born on Christmas Day can be the key to fame and fortune.
A study of 9,000 people in Who's Who publications revealed 600 Christmas Day birthdays. Past members of this exclusive club include Charles Pathe, film pioneer, 1863; Maurice Utrillo, painter, 1883; Conrad Nicholson Hilton, hotel proprietor, 1887; Dame Rebecca West, author, 1892; and Humphrey Bogart, actor, 1899.
Current members include Cab Calloway, jazz singer and band leader; Quentin Crisp, eccentric; Lord Grade, impresario; Annie Lennox, singer; Ismael Merchant, film producer; and Sissy Spacek, actress.
