Kathmandu - Members of the Global March against Child Labour were accorded a welcome in Kathmandu yesterday while on their way to India, sources said. The 63 marchers started their journey from Manila on January 17th and entered Nepal from Bangladesh.
They have passed through Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangladesh on a mission to create awareness of child labour, which affects nearly 250 million children throughout the world, a society official said.
