Charlton Athletic have joined the race to sign former Tottenham striker Teddy Sheringham.
Charlton manager Alan Curbishley acknowledged there would be "no shortage of takers" for Sheringham.
"We know Teddy is available and he would find us quite attractive. I need to find out from the chairman exactly what we have got, but I know Teddy has a lot to offer."
Clubs from Portugal, Spain, Japan, the United States, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are also said to be interested in the player.
