Two periodicals were banned by the Censorship of Publications Board at its last meeting, according to a statement issued by the board. They are Pirate and Private, both published by Milcap Publishing Group, and were banned on the grounds that they "have usually or frequently been indecent or obscene".

According to the statement, "a complaint, in the prescribed manner, has been made to the Censorship of Publications Board". At its meeting on September 13th, attended by "at least four members", "three at least" voted in favour of the prohibition.

No one from the board was available to expand on the announcement.
