French side Castres have made an official complaint to European rugby chiefs that their player Ismaela Lassissi was subject to "racist and discriminatory comments" during Saturday's European Cup clash with Munster.

European Cup organisers said today it would hold a disciplinary hearing to discuss the issue after Castres cited Munster for the alleged incident.

Munster have also cited Castres, claiming their player Peter Clohessy was bitten by a player from the French club. That citing will also be discussed at the hearing.

Castres won the pool four game at Stade Pierre-Antoine 21-13 but both teams qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition.
