Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a robbery on a cash-in-transit van outside a supermarket this afternoon.
The raid took place at about 12.45pm at Carpenterstown.
Two men, one believed to have been armed with a handgun, approached the CIT staff member and took a cash box, a Garda spokesman said.
The two suspects made their getaway in a silver Volkswagen Golf, possibly a 1999 model. No full regisration is available.

No shots fired were fired in the incident and there were no injuries, the spokesman added.
