A car was hijacked by assailants brandishing a handgun and hammer in west Belfast yesterday.
At around 9.40pm the driver of a grey Seat car stopped close to Cavendish Street. He was threatened and fled from the vehicle.
His assailants escaped in the car. Detectives have appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
