PREDICTABLY enough, young crowded into the Irish Film Centre on Thursday night for the launch of Projections 6, a new book in which film-makers talk about film-making. One of the book's editors, John Boorman, was on hand to give the speech, be publicly interviewed by Fintan O'Toole and show one of his movies, Point Blank. In the very appreciative audience were several members of Boorman's family including his partner Isobel and their two children (Lola and seven-monkh-old Lee), and John's son Charlie Boorman (who has just finished filming, The Serpent's Kiss) as well as designer Lainey Keogh and film censor Sheamus Smith. Boorman's new project, which he says is in the very early stage of long preparation, is a film version of C.S. Lewis's children's classic, The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe.
