Customs officers in Rosslare port have arrested two people after they seized cannabis worth an estimated €584,500.
Officers from Revenue's Customs service seized 83.5Kgs of cannabis resin this morning.
"Two Irish nationals have been arrested and are being questioned at Wexford garda station," a statement said.
The drugs were found in the back of a van disembarking the ferry from Roscoff. A drug sniffer dog identified the location of the drugs during routine risk-profiling by customs officers.

It is the second detection of drugs by the same dog, named Dillon, this week.
