A leaflet campaign in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, is urging Protestants to boycott Catholic businesses because "money spent in a Catholic shop could pay for the next bullet discharged by the IRA".

The leaflet, signed by a group calling itself the Dungannon Loyalist Association, is believed to have been circulated in response to claims by a member of the Orange Order that his business was being boycotted by nationalists. It praises "the communal spirit that has been witnessed at Drumcree over the past two years" and claims that 75 per cent of Catholics "contribute in some way to the Provisional IRA/Sinn Fein".
