C&C’s UK sales of Magners cider at bars and restaurants rose 6.9 per cent by volume in May compared with the prior month, Davy said today in statement citing researcher Nielsen.
"While it may be too early to say that C&C has turned the corner in Britain, recent data, company comments and our own enquiries suggest that Magners has stabilised," Davy said.
At 2.45pm shares in C&C were trading up 2.4 per cent at €2.10, giving the company a market value of €686 million.
